Midjourney plans much larger changes to Create over the next few months, rather than continuing with small incremental UI tweaks.
The goal is a substantially simpler but more powerful workflow that makes exploring hundreds or thousands of variations fast and intuitive.
Current features such as Draft and Remix should not be treated as permanent workflows; their underlying capabilities may be replaced by broader iteration and editing systems.
The team wants the same interface to work for casual and advanced users without splitting Midjourney into separate “simple” and “pro” products.

Create now supports multiple layouts, with revisions giving images more screen space; users can still return to the previous layout.
Default parameters can now be saved per project from Settings → Advanced.
Profiles have moved into the style sidebar alongside mood boards and styles.
New projects/folders can automatically name themselves from the first prompt.
Korean language support has launched.
Numerous Alpha bugs have recently been fixed, with more UI cleanup underway.

A new experiment generates very fast previews of the current prompt across different styles/SREFs while browsing.
From a preview, users can generate a higher-quality version, explore related styles, or add that style directly to the prompt.
Rollout appeared partially gated during Office Hours, so it may not immediately appear for everyone.
More SREF previews and broader improvements to style discovery are being actively explored.
