This guide was created by experienced members of the Midjourney community and is shared with Midjourney’s knowledge and support. Known issues with the editor:
✅ FIXED. The user interface may have inactive buttons until you submit an edit.
✅ FIXED. Edits may encroach upon parts of the image that were not selected for editing.
The retexture feature shows you tools that may make you believe you can select areas of the canvas to retexture. However, at this time, retexture will still work across the whole canvas as usual, and ignore your selections.
⚠️ 04/10/2025
Known issue: Prompt adherence from prompts produced by 🗨️Conversational Mode is low right now. This mode continues to be developed, so stay tuned for more changes over time.
Known issue: There are some performance glitches with srefs and moodboards. Changes coming soon.
⚠️ 04/09/2025 There’s a shiny new “prompt bar” in V7. You’ve now got separate toggle buttons for:
--p of your choice)--draft for speedy idea scribbling)--draft will be appended automatically)Basically, it’s the same stuff, but they’re not all lumped together anymore. You can still combine them. Like a toppings bar, but for prompt nerds like us.
