Overview (TL;DR)

So, how do I emphasize a detail on the canvas?

It is harder for details to go missing in V7, but it can happen when prompts are demanding (not long, just demanding). There are several strategies to explore.

Before giving up on Midjourney's apparent disobedience, take a moment to examine your entire batch of results. Keep in mind that having just 1 or 2 usable images in a batch actually indicates you have a well-crafted prompt!

1. Remove other details to make room.

2. Spend more time on the stubborn detail.

If a detail is hard to get on the canvas, describe it more in your prompt.

Instead of just a sleeping cat on a windowsill (which renders an alert cat with its head up and eyes open!) try In the background, a cat sleeps lying down with his head down, closed eyes, napping, slumbering, on the surface of a shelf of a bay window windowsill.

The additional details serve as emphasis. They shift the model’s attention, which increases the chances of the detail being included.

The more you describe a detail in your prompt, the better your chances of seeing it on the canvas.

3. Find another way to phrase the stubborn detail and use both ways redundantly, or just use synonyms.
