The /settings command in Discord lets you select the model version, stylize value, and other preferences that will be used for subsequent Imagines.

/settings command?</aside>
Type /settings in Discord to set model version, stylize value, and other preferences. Each model version may have a coupe buttons unique to that version. These are the default settings for V6:

If you select settings other than the defaults, you’ll see those parameters listed after “Current suffix”. Here’s a V7 example:

Midjourney will not use your /settings when remixing. If you delete parameters from your prompt during a remix, Midjourney will NOT default to your settings. Midjourney will default to the system default of --v 5.2 and to whatever the system default values are for parameters in --v 5.2. During remix, the only way to avoid the system defaults is to type in the parameters yourself.
Official documentation for /settings: https://docs.midjourney.com/docs/settings-and-presets
Here's a trick: To return /settings to the default system values, you can type /prefer suffix or use the [Reset] button.
